Yes Gala and I love the little town of Panicale itself. On 26th April, although advertised as St George's Day (it's on the 23rd to us English) there is a Ceremony Re-evoking the Miracle of the loaves and fishes at Mongiovino Sanctuary.
Near Castiglione del Lago, there is a beautiful town called Panicale and "ricamo su tulle" or embroidery on tulle is a special craft there. They even have a museum dedicated to that highly artistic craft. I understand that they run courses but I have not been able to find dates for 2009.
This is a Webpage that has some information:

I was most interested in this craft as I once had a house in a small town in Granada (Spain) where the women used to gather every afternoon at the little square opposite my house to work on their tulle embroidery, which is very similar to the one that they do in Panicale.
It is a work of incredible patience and skill and you also need a very good eyesight to be able to do it as the stitches are very small.
Have you been in the Museum, Noble?
