I have Italian dual citizenship and am registered in AIRE in California, I'm an Italian passport holder and homeowner in Italy. Question:
Gambatesa (Molise)
Gambatesa is a town in the Province of Campobasso, in the Italian region Molise.
The first known feudal lord, at the end of the thirteenth century, was Richard of Pietravalle, nicknamed “Gambatesa” (stiff leg) on account of his physical defect. This nickname also extended to the fiefdom, which at the end of the fifteenth century passed into the ownership of the Capua family, closely associated with the Aragonese kings.

Hi all,
I am asking a question that has been asked, no doubt, many times. I plan on getting the ferry to Cherbourg from Ireland in June and travelling to Molise. I will have 2 children and a dog for company. Any advice on routes, stop overs, etc. would be gratefully appreciated.
