Events for this week-end 25 and 26 Luglio and something for the next!

Ciao to everyone!In my last post about this matter I mentioned something for this week-end. Do you remember?2 events! One in Pesaro Province and one in the Fermo Province.The first is the 190th Sagra Polentara, in San Costanzo, a little town on the top of a hill above Marotta. It is the oldest Sagra I Have know so far (190 times = 190 years) and it is very characteristic. Infact, they built a lot of  clay ovens in the square of the town to cook the polenta. On Sunday wheather forcast has said it will be cooler so, to eat some polenta will be nice. The 190th Sagra is special and so, the Maestri Polentari have promised will be a lot of events. It will surely funny.The second event is 'Il Cappello di Paglia' (The Straw Hat) in Montappone. To made a straw hat is became an art and Montappone was (And is) very famous for this activity. This festival try to teach us all about the straw hat, from the raw materials to the finished product. And with it, a lot of exbhitions events.On Sunday evening, at 22:30, there will be fireworks.What can I add?This week end the XXXI Disfida del Bracciale has started in Treia (Macerata Province). It is a hystorical rievocation (Is it the correct translation?) of an old game which was very popular until the firs years of the '900. The Macerata's Sferisterio was built for play this game. For this event, Treia come back in the 1800, the gold season of Carlo Didimi (A very famous player of that time), evocating the life in those years with decorations and historical cortege, craft shops and original recips of that age proposed in the Taverne dei Quartieri, served by people who wear the clothes of that times. Every evenings there are several shows and animation.What is about the next week-end?The next will be the final of the tournament of the Pallone con il Bracciale, In Treia: very spectacular! Yoiu can find the entire program on web easily. In Filottrano (AN) will be start the 30th Contesa dello Stivale (Contention of the boot), where the town remember a fact happened in a battle between this town and Osimo, in the middleage. On 2 August there wiil be the biggest historical evocation in Le Marche: the Quintana in Ascoli Piceno.More and more in my next post about this matter.My choice? 190th Sagra Polentara in San costanzo for this week-end, without doubt! And for the next, I think to go to the XXXI Disfida del Bracciale, which nis an event where I want to see a lot.Ciao... and have a good time in Le MarcheMarco
