Lordo

Can anyone explain "Lordo" to me so it makes sense. We purchased a house, to be renovated to 112 sq. meters. The realtor, the architect - everyone was working on the basis of 112 sq. meters and the realtor quoted us expected building costs based on 112 sq. meters. Then we asked for an estimate of building costs from our geometra and suddenly the word "lordo" appears and we're told be will be billed for 175 sq. meters at 1900euros, instead of 112 sq meters. We've been told that this measurement covers the exterior dimensions of thick stone walls......but why no mention until we asked for a building quote?

I am afraid that you are going to have to ask those questions to the people involved in the calculations. "Lordo" means gross or in building terms, the built area against the habitable or nett area.
