Do you think when we pay the new tax on property held overseas that we will be able to deduct any taxes of the same kind that we pay in the UK. For example, would it be possible to deduct Council Tax?

Taxation on current accounts and investments changes from 1 January 2012 where the amount of tax on returns will be 20%.
Does anyone know if this applies to State bonds too ?

What is the health service cost for amandola, we have been quoted 7.5% of UK earnings but there is a minimum charge of 388:00 euros. This is based on earnings upto 21,658 euros means having to pay 1,500 euros for cover!!! Is this correct???
