Pisciotta is a town of the province of Salerno, in the region of Campania. Pisciotta sets in the national park of Cilento (south of Italy), built on a hill in front of the sea. The village, a thousand windows on the emerald sea, nestled atop a hill, surrounded by ancient olive trees, one of the prettiest villages in the Mediterranean. Not involved in the building development of mass tourism, the town is a sober and austere beauty, its houses, streets, folklore, ancient history speak of their medieval village. The hospitality of its inhabitants, religious festivals, restaurants, bars in the square.
