  Ford Fiesta LX, UK registered 10/01/2000  54,000 miles, 1750cc litre 4 cylinder diesel, 5-speed gearbox, no service history Returns about 45mpg on a run, considerably less around town 5 doors, central locking, electric front windows, power steering, CD/radio, air conditioning, rear parking sensors Slightly dented and scuffed – more ‘shabby’ than ‘damaged’ (elderly previous owner) 06/10/2009 (49,000 miles): Passed MoT and had full service, 4 new tyres, new battery, 3 glow-plugs replaced The car has been kept in Italy (Lunigiana, N Tuscany) since last November – 5,000 miles since MoT and service: insurance premium with Stuart Collins (AXA) was £345 (protected no claims, 4 drivers in their 50s, £100 excess) £750 for a quick sale – ie by the end of September. We paid £1300 before adding the tyres etc, so it’s a bargain price to save the time and expense of taking it home to sell in the UK.
