I did ask this question once before...I have a property which is insured at the moment (buildings/contents/public liability) through a UK company. There is not a company in Ireland where I reside at the moment who covers foreign properties. I only need Public Liability insurance as I am not there often, it is not let at all and the insurance is extremely high. Also most Insurance Companies find a reason not to pay out and I would not claim for anything there anyway. Does anyone know of an Italian Insurance Company who will just do Public Liability!

Try Groupama.I use them for basic insurance on my holiday property - only covers damage to the fabric and [most importantly] damage to others by the building [or part of it] falling on others [public liability]Costs me about 100 Euros a yearIf you look at http://www.groupama.it/agenzie/agenzie-@/index.jspz?id=3968 you can find your nearest office by clicking on the map
