Seeking rental property

Hi all, Just joined the forum and was wondering if any of you know of a property in Lucca Province for long term (2 months) low season rental from mid September on. I have been told that long term rental rates are more reasonable as regards cost. Ideally a property within walking distance of public transport with a minimum of 2 bedrooms. We will use this experience in helping us decide whether to purchase a property in Tuscany. I have tried a few rental property websites but the rates quoted are quite expensive. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Regards!

Hi Dubliner,The going rate for rental for a property with 2/3 bedrooms is about € 500-750 a month depending on location. Most long term rentals are 6months min, so you are probably looking for a Holiday rental with a reduced rate?I have a few contacts that I can make enquires with, and you should be able to take your pick, as rental this year is very very low; but location may be a problem as most tend to be in the mountains around here.Gromit
