Praiano (Campania)

Praiano is a town of the province of Salerno, in the Campania region of southwest Italy. It is situated on the Amalfi Coast (Costiera Amalfitana), a prime tourist location for the region and Italy alike, between the towns of Amalfi and Positano. In 1997, the Amalfi Coast, including Praiano's "Vettica Maggiore" frazione, was inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Attractions include the Church of San Luca Evangelista, dating back to 1123. On the inside, there are paintings by Renaissance painter Giovanni Bernardo Lama dating to the 16th century. Another attraction is the Church of San Giovanni Battista, featuring a well-preserved maiolica tiled floor, dating back to the 12th-13th centuries.

Recipes

Filled with the flavors of the area — anchovies from Cetara, black olives of Gaeta, raisins, pine nuts and tender escarole — this first course is a classic favorite in Naples.

Recipes

A specialty of Campania, this flavor-infused meat sauce is traditionally served with cavatelli, a pasta with a name deriving from “cavato” (carved out).

Recipes

Moist brioche cake soaked in sweet rum syrup, rum babá is a favorite Neapolitan dessert. It’s so beloved that there’s even a Neapolitan expression: Sì nu babbà.

@ndaly asks:

Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone can give any guidance on if there are licensed architects or drafts-persons who can work virtually with owners on drawing plans for home renovation in Italy (Naples)

Any insight to this process would be so helpful.

@ralph_1 asks:

What is the fax machine number for torre del Greco commune?

I want to get a birth certificate for dual citizenship by blood.

I keep faxing to this number but it fails.
