Hi I am looking at transporting approximately 6 large suitcases / boxes apptox weight 120 kilos from the Fermo area to suffolk in the UK any suggestions please.
I agree Intasure appears to be the most competive for house insurance. I renewed last year 2 weeks after the L'aquila earthquakes and added earthquake cover for an additional premium of £14-00. My property is in Le Marche and we felt the tremors.
Surely if your cleaner had washed the floors as part of their cleaning of the property there would not have been a build up of dirt and stains over such a short period. It is hardly fair to blame a product if regular cleaning is not carried out
I recommend Intasure every time they not only insure holiday homes but also permanent homes. Their rates are far more reasonable than Italian Companies and also better cover. I added earthquake cover two weeks after the disaster in l'Aquila for the princely annual sum of £17-00! with no questions asked.Rod
There are several shoe repairers in Porto San Giorgio most of them are in small shops in the side streets off of the main square leading to the railway station.

And remember that all Italians have this wonderful ability of being able to see round blind bends!
