Hi, I just joined this site and of course already have a question. I have just bought a small farmhouse in Alta Ossola and will be meeting some local artisans in a couple of weeks. One of them will be a plumber.
I probably will do just that. I just thought there might be a clear set of rules for d.i.y. like they have it in, for instance, England, Germany and Scandinavia.
I understand what you are saying, but do you need a certificate for every little thing to be able to sell or rent? I guess you don't need a certificate to change the filter in the faucet, but is that the limit?

Thanks modicasa! That is also how I interpret 'impianto'. And it's also how it's interpreted in the 'rulebooks' of the northern european countries.

Thanks modicasa! But is there nothing at all you can do yourself in the way of plumbing without a 'certificazione impianto'?
