Hi, if you want help on this, there is a good group on FB that I recenly found, called protect European Pensions. It still is complicated to me though because I am neither British nor Italian. What I have read there and on the EU website is that you can apply via INPS to the UK state pension so that Italy does "agregate" the total, but you are paid by the UK and Italy separately. The only thing that is not clear to me is whether to use a commercialista or other to get the pension declared when retired, and also whether I should already declare my private pension, which at present I no longer contribute to and which I do not receive yet.
Thank you. No, I definitely pay class 2 contributions, not 3. I don't know why but that's the NI told me to do many years ago. I have registered with Gov.UK website so as to get my forecast and all. on that side all is clear. Thank you for your advice on calling the International Pension Centre at Newcastle, I will do this.
Bank Account: I have my account with Poste italiane, I have had it for 20 years it was the cheapest at the time and it still is. I pay 1.08 euro a month of commission and something like 40 euro once a year, but this is probably because it is still an old account (they tried to make me upgrade a few years back and I refused). I have debit card only.
Saving accounts in Italy, I find it a disaster. I recently opened a life insurance with Generali because that was simply the best I could find.
Well, that's great great great, many thanks of you for sending this! I will look into it and I have also found some article from Barblays Bank on it too, so I am relieved. Have a nice evening!
PS: I am resident in Italy

Hi , There are 4 Raimondi listed in the phone book in Vicari, Sicily. you can see their phone number but that is all, and most likely they won't speak English. But you could try, if they have younger children maybe..here is the link: http://www.paginebianche.it/ricerca?qs=raimondi&dv=Vicari+%28PA%29 There seems to be a company call Raimondi Cereali as well in that town, so there maybe someone speaks EnglishRaimondi Cereali S.R.L.'Contrada Incasisi, Vicari, PA 90020 091 825 8071 Could not fine anything on the other name Good luck Ana
You can take the Tram 3 from Trastevere (in front of the ministrt of Education direct to Manzoni, but I think the last one is at 10pm. Best is to take the Bus H before midnight in Trastevere on Viale Trastevere just before the bridge, this is an express bus and ask the driver to tell you when you are arriving at Piazza Repubblica, where you can take the subway line A direction Agnanina and get off at Manzoni. On Friday and Saturday the subways runs till 1:30 so if you take the subway in the centre you're still ok if you are there at 1:30. Otherwise walk from Trastevere to Largo Argentino (5 minutes) and take any bus going to Termini to again take the subway to Manzoni. But check busses times I am not sure when are the last ones.
Modicasa, thank you very much for the tip. I have seen one can also buy the visura catastale online, will look into that!
Pity, I guess at Solicito's stage it is already too late to review my price offer then...Ah well. Many thanks for your answers in any case!
