As the title says: Where did all the posts go? There was a thread running which became quite interesting re. the economic climate and I can't see it anywhere. Neither can I see my own posts in that thread in my history.
Since utility bills are such a popular subject, I thought it may be useful to transcribe some information from my last ENEL bill for anyone trying to figure out just how & why they're being charged what they are for their electricity.
I just thought I'd add this as it may save some a fair bit of cash in fines/trouble.I was pulled over around 1 month ago by the Polizia. It was all very routine they said although I was driving a UK-registered car.
It's incredible isn't it? In my case I've almost always been paid the amount specified on the rows where they've added and then subtracted the amounts. The standalone row has only ever appeared on the occasional month - but there's no pattern to it. Some months it's a higher amount, others a lower one. Very strange. I followed your previous advice and graphed it and it all looks sensible but this is the first period (Sep/Oct) where the actual figures don't add up to the payment received. I find it hard to believe that a company/organization this big is capable of such a poor website; that their figures appear to be so random & that they take around 60 days to actually make a payment. It's been an interesting 1st year as far as PV (FV) goes and regardless of the complications, it was absolutely the right decision to install the panels when we did - something else I have to thank you for :)
Yup, we have tons of birds on the nut feeders (brought a large bag of nuts back from the UK) - didn't take them long for the birds to figure out what they were. Also had great success with nesting boxes (homemade) which have been used for several years now by Blue Tits, Great Tits & Nuthatches. Well worth persevering with as I reckon all the birds here need as much help as possible.
Well, when I order her coffee, she has a cappuccino since that's what she tells me to ask for :) It's all a bit daft that in this day and age people still think they have to right to determine what should be eaten/drunk and when. I appreciate that the thread isn't about charity, welfare etc., but it does make you think how silly we are sometimes to even be concerned by such trivia as eating conventions. Zzzz...
