Hi, I am buying an apartment in Italy and have been given a quote from the Notaio for the purchase, however I have been asked by the seller to pay for the registration fee to the tax office, should this be a cost for the seller or the buyer?
Thank you for your reply however I was given a quote by the notary and this isn't included in his quote, but the seller says this is in addition. And nothing to do with the notary. this is what I don't understand. My friend bought a house recently and she didn't pay this registration tax. I would have thought that anything I have to pay should be through the Notaio I wonder if anyone else has paid this? My fees for the Notaio were already fixed
