I am considering installing internet in my home in Carpasio (IM) Liguria using a company in San Remo called Sistel Communications. It seems to work off a radio mast located on one of our nearby mountains and is referred to as HYDSL Wireless.
It's the right company though the offering is different to that shown on the web page. The start up cost is EUR120 but there is no minimum contract period so I guess the risk is small. As you say the "guaranteed" speeds may be a bit optimistic. I think I'll probably go for it in the absence of anything to compete (3G mifi or a full phone/internet installation with Telecom Italia) and install a good firewall.
