HelloI'm after some advice please. When selling a property (houses and land, fairly large in size) I understand you need a certificate of conformity (not sure if that's the correct term?).
Hello everyone. I am after some advice please on selling two houses located close to Travo. Unfortunately I do not speak Italian. The houses were left to us by an Italian relative.
Thank you modicasa. I've been told that because the houses were built differently to the plans submitted to the local commune these need to be documented and corrected (conforma) by the town geometre. Apparently this could take several months and cost several thousand euros (over 10,000). I'm not sure if thats different to agibilita? Is this something you have heard of before?
Hi, thanks for your reply and link, I will have a look at that. Yes we have been to the houses, and plan to visit again soon. They were left to us so we have all the paperwork. Being in the UK and not speaking the language is a problem for us though. Is it quite an easy experience selling property in Italy, and do you have any idea what sort of costs are involved?thank again.
