HiI've just heard that Ryanair have cancelled all flights from Liverpool to Rimini. Does anyone know what's happened or is it just a case another Ryanair conundrum? The flights were always full when we have flown.Pete

Are you still considering your options for a move to Italy Luke? We're also in the Le Marche region, having moved on a full time basis after 15+ years of holidaying here. We have some contacts in the building trade and are interested in your situation having gone through quite some experiences to realise our dream to live here. We have a modest little home in a hamlet close to the Sibillini mountains that requires a full range of works. Thanks to all who have taken time to read or respond to our initial posting. We are grateful for the feedback from Fillide as it is, no doubt, of interest to all in general. As we are kind of old hands (well, we are in our mid-fifties) from our experience in the UK in this area, hopefully this knowledge translates equally well in Italia! This said, we have already done some research as to what is already (or not) available over here in terms of pet services including charges. It might be fitting to say that we ourselves are looking at modest rates with costs for additional services, such as gardening, painting, household jobs (beyond general upkeep) should they be required. For serious enquires, a consultation is recommended in the pet owners home, this will be free of charge within the local area. This will be to establish information about the pet/s, to discuss all expectations of both parties and any other relevant details. We aim to be fair and flexible whilst looking to establish a mutually satisfactory arrangement. Having had a rescue greyhound and lurcher for the past 12 years, we are happy to sit for animals who might have certain needs and issues which call for a patient, understanding and responsive attitude. Hopefully, we may be making a few furry friends in Le Marche soon! I think it will probably depend on the signal strength where you are. We used a dongle recently at our house in Sarnano which worked pretty well for web browsing, email etc. It was a little slow for Skype but worked ok without video. Look out for introductory deals, we got 3 months access for 39 euros Cheers Pete
My wife & I have a small house in Le Marche and due to my redundancy are now planning to move more permanently to live in Italy, early next year. I understand from the reading I've done so far that to gain permission to stay longer than 90 days there are conditions we have to meet. One of these is to have employment or 'suffient means' of support. I'm struggling to find figures for what 'sufficient support' means. Do anyone know how much we have to have in our account to meet this criteria?
