Buon Natale to all.My wife and I will in the next couple of months be moving permanently to our villa in Puglia and I would be grateful if any forum members could offer some pearls of wisdom as to their experiences in the best place to have a pens
Hi flyingveepixie. When I was having problems the other week I sent an email to "webmaster@enel.com" and they sorted it in a very short space of time.......all in english as well....phew !
I'm having the same problem but I have used my middle name in my codice fiscale AND registering on 'myenel' and my CF is still coming up as invalid......if I had hair I'd pull it out ............anyone got any ideas....help !
Hi Sprostoni and all who contributed so far to this thread, very informative as usual. We will soon be moving to our villa and will need a decent broadband connection. Although we have a telephone line along our lane there is nothing connected into the property. I would be interested to know what the average cost is of getting a line connected and the costs etc. If it out weighs the costs against italia wi-fi then I won't bother with Telecom! Comments would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Sprostoni. We have just purchased our villa in Puglia and completed last month using Moneycorp to transfer the deposit and final payment. We never came across a 'SEPA' code during our transactions. Have you contacted them about what this code is? As we don't move into our villa for another couple of months I would be more than happy to ring them and enquire what this for you?
Thanks very much to all the replies and the advice has certainly helped in making a decision.......I knew I could count on the forum's help. We will now look forward to 2012 to our new life in Puglia and will no doubt in the near furture post other questions as 'newbies' as we settle into a more relaxing and enjoyable time.......now the hard bit of packing/removals. Didn't realise how much stuff you accumilate over the years! John & Angela
Hi Margaret. Thank you for your reply. The figures I mentioned earlier was from Intasure so I'm just trying to get a balanced idea of what I would expect to pay, athough I do appreciate that prices will differ dependant on differing types of property and location. I'm surprised that there is such a difference between your price and our quote! Different properties I would expect.
Thanks for the posts, much appreciated. To reply to 'Flip', the property is to be our permanent residence once I retire from the Police in March. The property is about 15mins drive from a main town and earthquake cover is included. I'll certainly make enqs with the local P.O. As for my 'handle', after time spent in the military and police I will always 'seize the day'.......my philosophy is live life now .......you don't get a second chance. We can't wait for our new life to begin. Thanks again guys.

You are right sprostoni - Just had a look at their web page ' Sky.com/skygo' and you need a Sky subscription.
