Castro dei Volsci (Lazio)

Castro dei Volsci is a town in the Province of Frosinone in the Italian region Lazio. The "borgo" is surrounded by a beautiful landscape rich of water, that descends along the hillsides down to the Sacco River valley. From the plain up to the 1,116 meters of Monte Calvilli, you go through white limestone or hills covered with woods. Part of the territory falls into the regional natural park of the Ausoni Mountains and Lake of Fondi, which houses the Roman Temple of Jupiter Anxur, with spectacular views of the Circeo and Gaeta promontories and the island of Ponza.

What others are saying about Lazio

@deana.pitt asks:

Hi, I'm looking for some accurate information regarding the bus from Orvieto to Bagnoregio. I've tried the Cotral website, but the search never works for me. I found an typed schedule from a blog, but have no idea if it is still current or accurate.

@Pozzallo22 asks:

Can someone give me restaurant recommendations in Rome? Thank you.

My husband and I live in New York.  His relatives have informed us that inherited property in Broccostella has been sold and they have an ‘assegno circolare’ in his name for his share of the sale.
