I have Italian dual citizenship and am registered in AIRE in California, I'm an Italian passport holder and homeowner in Italy. Question:
Cerro al Volturno (Molise)
Cerro al Volturno is an Italian town of 1,277 inhabitants in the province of Isernia in the Molise region, about 20 km from the border with Abruzzo. The town is also called Cerro simply because of its rich territory of woods with various kinds of plants, among which is the tree of the Cerro, namely Quercus cerris. The Cerrese land is on the border with the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise, and is surrounded by greenery.
Not far from Cerro lies the village of Castel San Vincenzo where you can visit a magnificent Abbey

Hi all,
I am asking a question that has been asked, no doubt, many times. I plan on getting the ferry to Cherbourg from Ireland in June and travelling to Molise. I will have 2 children and a dog for company. Any advice on routes, stop overs, etc. would be gratefully appreciated.
