Italian friends of ours are looking for a madrelingua inglese companion for their eight year old daughter who already speaks reasonable English. The mother speaks fluent English and French.
There is a cook/maid and also nonna is on hand so there will be no domestic chores. Use of a car and some pocket money is also on offer in return for visiting the beach and swimming pool with the daughter!
They live in a large farmhouse near Pistoia (between Florence and Pisa) which is a little remote so a slightly bookish person might enjoy it more.
The position is open from now until mid July when they leave for their family holiday in the US.
We did have a 17 year old Art Foundation school student lined up but she has just found out that she must stay with her exhibition until the first week in July and quite right too.
