Hi AllI am looking for work here in Abruzzo ,I would consider moving for work but we have a 11 son going to school here . I don't have really any qualifications , In Scotland i did work in garden centers, fish factories did some gardening , always managed to find work , but things i think has changed everywhere with this crisis . it is hard living here with no work , my husband wants to work to but he would find it hard to work for someone because he would not be ale to work everyday  as he has good days and  bad days , he has an illness , but does not want anybody to know this , but it is classed as an chronic illness so he can not get any help from the social .We did have a bar , pizzeria and restaurant here for 1 year .I like to work with computers  and Internet .I also like animals .I have made a CV for me in Italian and i have it registered with job companies but my Italian is still not very good ,even though been in Italy for a few years , I have found i have forgotten words , because not using the language enough , most of time just stay in house go out just for shopping , but do speak to neighbors .any advise would be good ,Thanks in advance ,Jane

Hi Jane and welcome to the Community. Sorry to hear about your problems but as you rightly say these are difficult times everywhere although we think that this extreme situation will start changing in a few months. Also, to find work in Italy is not an easy task, even for Italians, but keep on going, contact prospective employers, ask around, the way to find work is by promoting yourself.Another possibility is to create your own work. Find what is missing in your area that you would know how to do and start your own small business. As for your husband, he needs a lot of encouragement and help and it will be very difficult to give those if he does not open up. Many people with chronic illnesses and disabilities are working, perhaps part-time, but this gets them out of the house and builds up self-confidence.You are going through difficult times, but light is at the end of the tunnel. Keep on fighting. I'll keep you in mind in my prayers. Let us know how you go.Best wishes
