Thanks for these.I've found that one of the positive outcomes following the earthquake in April is how much the global profile of Abruzzo has been raised. We had some American guests stay with us in October and whilst their itineray was limited to the usual places in Italy, they decided to detour for 5 days to Abruzzo, after they'd seen that wonderful backdrop of the Gran Sasso at the G8 summit in L'Aquila.We have also had many Italians from Milan, Venice visiting the region to show their support to L'Aquila and surrounding region.
