6459 Good builders in Piemonte????

Hi there peeps

Any suggestions on how to find good ,reliable builders in the Cuneo region?

We're ready to start renovations- should only take a decade or two

Hi Mickey and Minnie..

We have an excellent Geometra (who's wife speaks English) in Dogliani. We also know an excellent builder, especially if you are after a sympathetic and rustic style renovation rather than a concrete job.

Are you anywhere near Dogliani?

We are just finishing our renovation (bit of a joke....give us 10 more years....) in the hills above Dogliani, Niella Belbo to be precise.

I know good builders plus electrician and plumber (also a Fabo for windows, gates, bars and things)

Again depends where you are certainly as far as the builder is concerned, the others would travel further

I would love to get the name of your geometra, if you wouldn't mind posting it. I have an old place in need of some work in the Alta Langa, nearer Mondovi.

I love the Belbo valley.

Hi Tim, We have just read your posting about a good builder in Piemonte. We have purchased a farmhouse that needs total renovation, in cortemilia. Would love to have your builders details. We have all the plans and permission in place. Where exactly is your house located in Piemonte? Lot forward to your reply.

We're getting close to the end of a complete renovation on our house in Vesime, and we used builders from Cortemilia. Although they have driven me up the walls in the past few years, I can recommend them very highly - they are abolute perfectionists, and their costs are reasonable. Read this post today. But it is ten years since Brian wrote his post. I am looking for a reliable builder that can speak a bit of English, while ww learn Italian, that is able to build a house from scratch> It will be a new build as the old property has already been knocked down.Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!Alex

Just read your tread giving us the contact name of your builder. Thank you. We have been recommended some builders through other guys on the Italian forum, which we have met up with and are just awaiting quotes from these builders. If they do not materialize we will certainly give your builder Bruno Garrone a call. Once again thanks. Is your place in Vesime near Cortemilia?
