Voltage OK as marc says (whether 12V DC or 220/240 AC)
as long as your spots are proper ones that use halogen bulbs (the small ones with the shiny conical exterior to the reflector part) then the connection should be standard ...
but if they're bigger spotlights with conventional lightbulbs inside (these were quite popular a while back, usually in clusters of 3 with adjustable angles), you'll need to ensure they don't use a bayonet fitting as that's common in UK but not used in Italy.

Ah if only I could download my photo of them I took on my mobile to the computer ...... These ones don't use halogen but sort of two inch long narrow white wee tubes which I understand from Habitat are easily bought from them or Ryman of all places.

Oddly (or perhaps not oddly), we've often found that Italian lighting is cheaper when purchased outside Italy, and that's before you take in to account sales. V

I've picked up today, five ceiling light fittings, a quarter of the original price to. Presumably they are okay for Italy too???
By chance I have found nicer spotlights than I have already bought for the house in Italy, in the current (no pun intended) Habitat sale (reduced to a third of the original price) Like a lot of their merchandise they are from Italy.
The question I am posing is- Would they be suitable voltage wise for Italy??? They either come as a single spotlight or a group of three.
Italy, through companies like Regiane first gave us spot lights(low voltage etc)
in the UK so no prob's.

Thank you Pas 55. I have bought them for Italy in the hope that the electrician hasn't yet attended to my lights!!! lol Still they are so nice it's worth paying that little bit more to have them instead.
Yes, they'll be fine.
