Well, if you let us know what it is (model, year, etc) you might have a better chance. Of course, you could always try advertising it? Just a thought...
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
yes it's an early 2000 156 model. Yes I will advertise it when I go back to Italy later this year, if I can't sell it here.

Apologies if this is an obvious question but ...
is it LHD or RHD?
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
LHD - ready to drive like an Italian!!
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
dont suppose you want to swop it for a landrover and trailer ?
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
probably not I need a car for my family. I also have a trailer - you know the Italians, I had to fill out documentation and register it. How old is the land Rover is it RHD?
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
Its 22 years old (ex military) 6 seats (with belts) LHD registered in Italy.

thanks but I'm looking for a RHD family car.

2000, 156 alfa romeo, but is it a 1.6, 1.8, 2.0 or 2.5 petrol?
Or is it a 1.9 or 2.4 diesel ?
Also whats the mileage. ?
But you would still get more money for it back in Italy.

1.9 Diesel. Owned by a Doctor who commuted from Citta Di Castello to Perugia thus its only done 118000 kilometers which for a diesel is good.
I think I should have bought a car in the UK and taken it over - just like most of the foreigners do, its far easier but my Italian improved 1000%
I'm sure the foreigners in the UK think our bureaucracy is bad but we understand our system don't we?

Actually, thats almost a perfect buy for anyone moving to Italy from England.
Diesels a good choice, mileage is ok too.
Don;t give up trying to sell it on here, it could be a perfect deal for both parties....for anyone needing transport and moving to Italy....
good luck.....

Important question-how much are you asking?
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
I bought it for €12,000 last year so probably €8,000 - this is a good reliable car i wish it was RHD

If you do like your Alfas, welcome to the uk. RHD alfas do not hold their value anywhere near as good as on the continent.. bargains galore check out the autotrader website.........

Hi,
don't know if you got my last message.....something to do with my profile settings!?
Anyway, if not, I may be interested in your car.
Which part of UK do you live in?
Thanks.
Christine Renzo
Is that an early version of the Alfa Romeo by any chance?
