9110 Large Nihm battery chargers?

I'm looking for an 8 AA battery charger [bigger would be nice :yes: but I'll live with 8] it would be great if it handled D and C cells to. But only needs to do four of those. Doesn't need to be rapid charging. Over night will make me happy.

So far I've seen ONE in the shops for a little less then a car! It was close to 100 Euros. I'm better off buying two four cell chargers for a small fraction of that but they don't handle D cells.

Any help?

I had an Ever Ready charger that could take 6 'C' or 'D' size batteries - I do not know if they still make them. I think I paid about £10 for it

Keep an eye open at Lidl; it's the sort of thing they do periodically, and I've bought a charger from them before. Ah yes, just found it in a drawer: brand name 'Tronic', and the range includes NiMh batteries too. Only 4 battery charger but at their prices not an issue.

I've got a couple of those small four battery chargers. They are common and fairly cheap. But I'd really be better off with a big one. Plus the small ones can't handle D cells.

Somebody must sell them in Italy. I guess I could mail order one but I wouldn't seeing it first.

The one I've got handles Ds as well as 6s (the little square ones with two terminals). You reminded me that I needed to charge some AAs so now happily in use!
