Hello I would like to say I came across this forum and have enjoyed reading the comments. I have a house in Umbria, in the wonderful hilltop town of Spello. Since we bought the house, in the centro storico, we have made many wonderful friends - mostly Italian, who have made us very welcome. My husband speaks the language fluently and I have a reasonable understanding - but struggle to speak! Is there anyone who lives around my area (Nottingham/Derby) who would like to practise Italian with me or perhaps travel to Italy for short breaks?
