The local centro commericale had a little booth setup by somebody doing returns. Bring in your paperwork and have it done while you shop. Reminds me of H&R in North America. Likely cheaper then an office some place. It also seemed like a chain. OTOH I just walked by pretty quickly and didn't really check things.

I saw the booth again yesterday.
35 Euros to fill out a 730
50 Euros for a Unico
I only paid a bit of attention but I think the signs mentioned this included figuring out your ICI and a bunch of other stuff. How much are people paying for just ICI?

The labour union CISL will prepare income tax returns, ICI, etc at low cost. For ICI they charge 10 euro (I had them do it the first time because I had some sanzioni (I didn't know about ICI until 5 years after house purchase :reallyembarrassed:). Now I compute ICI myself for free). They have offices in practically every comune in Italy.

We paid 25 euros last November to the "commercialista" in Barga recommended by our Real Estate agents. We did not have an appointment. They did it in a few minutes while we went to inspect the large brico centre in that town.
Tax etc

I saw the posts about having to make an IRPEF declaration from 2008 too (relating to the "rendita catastale"). I mentioned it to my commercialista and she looked at me like I was mad. Said the rules had not changed (she knew the law...) and our rendita was so low that we didn't have to fill in an income tax form..... I don't know what to do now.
Does anyone know the number or name of the law which changed the rules?
People in our little town think we are crazy for wanting to pay tax in the first place. They spend their lives trying to avoid it. I think I'm going to need details of this new law if I'm going to have any success with this. But maybe I'm being too English...? I worried about getting a "multa"...:(
Can anyone help?
there is a great deal within the thread below which will answer your questions i think regarding taxation.....
