Welcome to the Forum - I'm new too. Good luck finding your way around! Italy is so wonderful isn't it? I can't wait to live there permanently! I'm still trying to get to grips with the lingo - I understand quite well - but speaking is another issue.:laughs:

Hello Nickbass and welcome to the Forum. So you have a house in the Antico Principato di Seborga! Lovely area. We had a look at it almost two years ago, when we started our house hunting. Nothing suitable at that time, so, after many house inspections and trips, we ended up in Tuscany.
Enjoy the Forum and best wishes with all your plans. Keep us informed.

Good Luck in the principality .... a nice location .... there are a few of us in the Imperia area.

Welcome to Liguria! We're on the other end and have lived here for almost 4 years. Loving it! If you need any help or advice, ask anytime.

welcome to the forum, I'm newly returned to these forums but have lived here in Umbria for eight years, Good luck

hello Nickbass! I have also very recently joined this site as I noticed some reference to Seborga! I have introduced myself and added the note that we are getting married in Seborga very shortly. My other half comes from Bordighera; the in law still there but we live in Licciana at present, escaping to Luguria when we need! I fell in love with Seborga the first time I visited it and we decided to marry there. It's such a lovely place and all that goes with it so lots of luck to you! Have you espied 'His Tremendousness' (the 'prince') yet?!

i have an english friend who lives in perinaldo. he is a muscian, he plays guitar in a local band. i have stayed there twice. i still have trouble sleeping with the bells from the church. my friends first place was in the main square next to the church. in seborga we have the same bells. a small price to pay!!

we bought the house on 14th feb. the wife says how romantic.wish i had seen seborga 10 yrs ago. i havnt seen the prince yet but i havnt yet explored the village. plenty of time for all that.
we have 2 small houses, but in need of a bit of diy and tlc. not aproblem for me. in the uk i am a gas engineer so we wont be cold in the winter
