9172 hello from licciana and seborga !

hello all,
I have just joined this site and can already see a lot in common! I have been in Licciana just over a year, due to be married soon, in Seborga! My other half comes from Bordighera and I fell in love with Seborga the firs time I saw it, and we arranged the marriage to be held there. Not as easy as it sounds, due to us living in another region - us being in Tuscany, Seborga in Liguria! Anyway it will all be worthwhile in the end :)

I'm looking forward to hearing how people are getting on. I would also like to find work but my Italian needs a lot of work at the moment!

Welcome to the forum to another Liccianese (is that a word?). Will you still live in Licciana after your wedding?

Thanks for the welcome and good wishes for my forthcoming wedding! We will be staying in Licciana as my other half works in Aulla and La Spezia. He's actually been here quite a time already. I must say, I find the area's micro - climate quite fascinating, it has a life of it's own, doesn't it?! The lovely mountains which I see from the windows that are now losing their snow cover and the housemartins coming back to roost are a sure sign spring has sprung, lovely!
