I fell in love with Italy many years ago when I came to work as an au pair for a family and spent the summer in Tuscany. It left a big mark on me, so much so years later when I was teaching in London I had the opportunity to spend a year in Italy. I came but never went back as I met my hubby. We now have two children and a dog and live in Pistoia. I love life here, the big family dinners, food, wine, sun, being able to take your kid pretty much everywhere, reading a good book under the veranda etc.. The only thing I don't find so fab is the bureaucracy which is a shame, I think Italy is a wondeful place and has so much to offer. I do get nostalgic for Britain every now and then so it's nice to read about other expats. So that me.:smile: Look forward to chatting and swapping ideas with you all. Best wishes
