Someone else directed me to a site that lists golf courses in Italy: [url=http://www.golfeturismo.it]
I don't think it lists every course as I know of one north of Ascoli Piceno that is not listed on this site. Actually they show no courses for Le Marche.

We dropped by late last year and were told the course was planning to open in 2010. Apparently, Nick Faldo is somehow connected, but not exactly sure how. There is a a pro in residence. It seems they are still buying up the land, so who knows when it will be ready. Interestingly, there was a property developer near Macrone who last year was almost claiming the golf course as their own as they attemped to sell off-plan, but that was only for a very short while. Their website has now completely disappeared and their local associates seems to have changed their name and there is now absolutely no mention on their website of this development. However there remains a site cleared of vegatation in full view between Macrone and Malgrate.

We've just had a new course open near us(Sardinia) shame I do not play it looks great I think it's called a 'links course'
Several months ago I checked out a “new” golf course on the outskirts of Villafranca. As I recall there were four holes “under construction,” the beginnings of some sort of lodging, and a large swimming pool. Talking to a couple of the workmen there, got the impression that the golf course itself was not going to be playable anytime soon.
There is also a “driving range” there. Not aware of any other courses in the Lunigiana area.
