9312 Horses in Italy

Hi,

Looking for a home for Teddy - on loan.

We have a beautiful Welsh Mountain Pony, section A, gelding, handsome, easy doer. Was our son's first pony, since then moved onto big horses, polo ponies, etc. We don't want to sell Ted but there is nobody to ride him, which is a great shame, so if there is a family who would like him on free loan, please let us know.

Ted lives out and doesn't need much feeding. Never shod. Small but a real horse.

I can send pictures - otherwise we'll have to ship him back to the UK to find a home - which would be a shame.

Hi, we are in Emilia Romagna, I have 3 fields and a 9 year old daughter who would love to help you out.
No outbuilding or barn though so would need to know what would be required- would i need to construct somewhere for him to sleep?

Wow. A quick response. Where are you in Emilia, please? Ted is currently near Varese Ligure, just over the border in Liguria.

Ted doesn't need a stable except in consistent driving rain, he needs some shelter but the simplest thing would suffice. Ted doesn't like stables and in the Welsh mountains lived out all year round. He's tough.

The thing he needs is company - which doesn't have to be another horse but it's my belief that horses are herd animals (except some stallions) and they can get lonely, but if your daughter spends time with him every day..... Does she ride?
