Many thanks for your advice - I will pay a visit to Collucci when I am in Puglia next month and see if they can help me decide what to do with our garden.
Thanks,
Rozzie
Hello Rozzie - I hope you`ve got lots of money to spend - Landscape designing doesn`t come cheap!!! I know people (locals) who`ve used Collucci in Martina Franca and had a great job done. They`re on Via Taranto in the Madonna del Pozzo zone - it`s about a couple if Km from MF, on the left. We used them to put a prato inglese and irrigation system in to our very small front garden but, sadly, couldn`t afford to have them finish the rest of the garden. They did, however, do two of our neighbours` gardens.
We put one, reasonably substantial, olive tree in our front garden (just to look pretty!) and it cost about 300euros - approx. 10-15 years old. I think most people who plant olives for the oil, plant young trees as they`re a lot cheaper. BTW we did have the offer of a very nice tree as a gift but when we looked into the cost of moving it, it became obvious that it would be cheaper just to buy one - they also come with some sort of guarantee as well, whereas if we had paid the same money to move the `free` tree, it might have died the next week.
If you go to Collucci, do say that we recommended them to you!!
