Looks more like a two-legged anteater to me!

wish it was ... I could have a nice cuppa while watching the electric beastie hoover up all the various ant colonies that use my house as a parade ground :-) Talk about 2 birds with one stone!

How would you use this item? I thought it was a kettle at first glance.

A penguin, an anteater, a kettle, or an ill disguised advertisement. My money is on the last suggestion!

Novelty kitchen appliances. we've all either bought one or been given one at some stage, it's all part of growing up and being British, and they lurk in the dark recesses of every cupboard.

I declare a corkscrew/bottle opener matching set with pink elephant heads for handles. I think it also came with a set of little pink elephant plastic ice cube moulds .. .but that may just be a recurring nightmare.

I find many of the best threads on the forum are started by random spammers! Keeps me amused anyway.

suppose you could use it to clean all the ingrained dust off your other novelty items to prep them for the car boot sale?

Are you sure it's not a Clanger?
