c'mon, how long have you been at the forum game, you shoud be giving the answers, not asking the qustions!

if you created the thread just click on thread tools, last option is add a poll.

I've never had any interest Pigro until now!!! I ticked the option before posting this thread but nothing happened. I shall look again tomorrow. It kinda late. Cheers

Don't be silly Sally, you can not use the poll option in the middle of a thread but only when creating one.

if you are the creator of a thread you can (apparently) add a poll to it at any time - within your thread, go to 'thread tools' and it's in there as an option.

Ooh Pigro you are quite right, sorry Sally!!!lol

Still cannot figure this out ......

I do hope the poll when it arrives will not be an anticlimax!!!:laughs:

If it arrives, and it won't be I can assure you!!! So being the Poll Queen here Nielo, couldn't you just tell me the next step, having ticked the yes box. I'll run this past you again. How do I add the options??? Cheers

Hey I realise now I could add a poll here asking what is the most likely poll I'm wanting to post!!! lol

Hmmm, I could think of other, better questions we'll all be more than happy to help answer for you :0)

from the forum FAQ's:

To create a poll when you post a new thread, simply click the 'Yes, post a poll with this thread' checkbox at the bottom of the page, and set the number of possible responses you want to include.

When you click the submit button, you will be taken to the poll creation page, where you can specify the question and the list of responses you want to include.

You may also want to specify a time limit for the poll, so that (for example) it stays open for voting for only a week.

Ah thanks Pigro. I don't then think this works in Safari yet so I will try Firefox. Please try to contain the excitement now!!! lol

Sitting here with legs crossed and almost wetting myself with excitement. Welcome back from Italy Sally, you have certainly livened the place up and given us all a new reason for living. It was almost suicidal with only Pigro's Massive Attack to keep us chirpy.

Sorry I want no part (not even advisory) in anything entitled "Jingle All The Way (with poll) ". :laughs:

I suggest you follow Pigro's instructions and just be grateful there is no rule about littering on the forum or you could have been facing a hefty fine!!! lol

I followed Pigro's instructions using a different browser, compiled the poll but it didn't register in the thread for some reason so the two threads I asked the Moderators to delete.

Should I eventually manage the poll then you are more than welcome to change your mind and vote.
