9451 Jet2

I was quite shocked when I looked at Jet2 website yesterday and discovered they are" doing a Ryanair". When I booked tickets last year all taxes were included in the prices they quoted in the boxes of their price calendar for the whole month. Now they have gone back to just quoting the basic fare and you dont find the taxes out till later. I dont really understand why airlines do this. If you are going to find out taxes eventually anyway, why not right from the start?
