Thanks, for some reason my search did not pick it up. Oversized thumbs probably.
Have a good weekend.

I am currently in the process of constructing a EMMEDUE house,
The first floor took 3 people 4 days to put up ( v easy)
2 men from M2 came over to talk us thru it, there are now 4 or 5 (All English owned) in this area, but the Italians are getting interested as they can see its a good idea, very well insulated, so running cost low and also very resistant to slides and quakes.
Have a look at casaverdeitalia property in italy tuscany liguria emilia romagna - this company would be able to answer any questions you have.

Sound very interesting. Are you putting in any extra floor insulation? What are are you building in?

The whole house is polystyrene (even the staircase) it is sprayed on both sides with concrete, but as it was a farmhouse I intend to dress the front with the original stone, so it does nt look like a new build.

Hi there herealready
I was wondering after a year in your house how you have found your heating bills.
Have you made the savings that you thought you would with an M2 house or are they still horrendous?
best
P

Unfortunately due to divorce/financial problems my house build was put on hold, but hoping to restart the build in spring.
But I know 3 other people who have built these houses and they give good reports.
It could'nt possibly not work really as they are so well insulated, even tho mine is only partially constructed you can feel temperature change when you stand inside.
I have photos of my build on my profile page and will add to it when work restarts.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties Here. I hope you resolve them all soon.
yes I have seen your pictures; all very interesting. I am sure it will be very efficient but I would love to know just HOW efficient.
(time to add more photos?)
This construction system was discussed here

and you will find a link in one of lotan's posts to the systems from Emmedue (who are Italian).
