Is it possible to source sanitary ware at trade or internet prices that are available in the UK? I install bathrooms with a plumber partner in the uk and whilst I am happy to use local labour (north tuscany) the quotes for the hardware, although reasonable, can be beaten with my uk knowledge. I want to use some classy kit so the local brico is no good. I am sure I could save a substantial amount on the 2 bathrooms/showers being installed, even after the shipping costs. It seems ridiculous when Italy is the largest manufacturer of ceramica in Europe - i can vouch for that. Its written on most of the boxes I open in the UK! The very poor exchange rate obviously hasn't helped.
