9826 Moped hire?

This is a very long shot, but does anyone have any idea of moped / scooter hire places in or around Le Marche? We need one for a couple of months at least... or would it be cheaper to buy?

Don't know about Moped hire but when we were in Falimenti in Tolentino a few weeks ago they had mopeds for sale - not sure how much they are but I think they were all less than €1000.

Thanks for that Chris. I love that place! Last time we were there they had two enormous marble lions - 6,ooo Euros each! If only the lottery had come up ...:laughs:

We did see the mopeds too but at that point they were electric ones and we weren't sure how much electricity they'd take to charge up. Mid you, petrol prices being what they are now maybe electricity would be a good deal.

We'll go and have another look. Maybe we should have an Italy Magazine Group meeting there!

The IPER hypermarket in Civitanova Marche has 50cc petrol scooters on offer at €990..... when I was there yesterday they had them in stock and they looked pretty decent too.
