There is a newish website, Umbria OnLine turismo in Umbria guida turistica con eventi e manifestazioni in Umbria, which is really comprehensive, and in very good English. Here is a link to their current page on village feste - where you can check on the dates of just about every local sagra or festa, something which previously was rather difficult for a casual tourist or Umbrian resident Umbria Regional News by Umbria Online ®
There is a lot more - from guided speleological visits (caves, ravines, undergrounds of cities), through a 'slowbiking' opportunity or a tractor show, to art and culture and cheapo hotel deals.
Lots of great information on this site!

There is also a new information "newspaper" called Trasimeno Services. It's in English and it's free to register. Contact pasqualeaiello@trasimenoservices.it Seems worth supporting the effort to promote the Trasimeno area and to know what's going on locally.
