9909 Made it at last

Having finally found my way around the site I am making my first contact. Having visited the site on many occasions to get help from other people's questions I think its time to become part of it.
We bought a house in the centro storico of Penne (Abruzzo) about 18 months ago. We try to get over every couple of months to soak up the atmosphere and unwind. Work now fills the time between holidays.
A small question to start with. Family members are interested in visiting the Penne area and are asking about the possiblity of hiring mountain bikes when they are here. Any help in locating bikes for hire?

Can't help with the location but have you thought of having bikes available at the house?We've often thought about bringing them over with us but the only downside is the maintenance to deter 'guests' claiming damages in this compensation culture we now live in.
