10061 home swap london abruzzo

looked at the holiday home swap section but that appears to be a non starter so will post this here

we know a family of parents,both teachers and three children...oldest 16 who speaks very good English... anyway they have a home close to the beach in Tororetto ...700m ... which consists of 2 bedrooms, one with four single beds and i double room , two bathrooms, kitchen and living room, its on one level on the ground floor of a two storey building.... has its own fenced garden, and an outside covered veranda....

they would like to swap this with anyone that lives in London, they have specified only London...

the other point being that as teachers they can only do the London part of the swap during school holidays... but that the apartment by the beach as they live full time in Teramo is available on a more flexible basis....

they are not interested in rentals... just ways of swapping....

at the beach place there are also bicycles available,.... as i say the garden is fenced so its safe for small children too...

if anyone is interested in this then they can either PM me or email me and will pass on details and try to help with any language difficulties.... if that should be a problem...

no pets... not their rule but its a condo with that rule within...

can certainly vouch from this side as the family being of "good character" as they say... and very trustworthy

i would think that because they have three children in tow not much more than a couple of weeks from their side... however the people/family that wish to come here can have more time as they use the home they want to swap as a holiday home so it not occupied most of the year...

no firmer details as they only told me yesterday as they were in the office getting help with RYan air bookings for their daughter to visit friends... and it just came up then... i do know that the place will not be free until the end of august...

maybe i should have called it a delayed swap from their side... basically their daughter is in love with england,london and english language... she even at just 16 is giving guided tours here in teramo in English to tourists that arrive... and helps out also with the hand ball world cup with the english speaking teams... so they really want to help her in that respect...learning English but as most will realise ...travelling to london with five people is expensive enough...staying there costs a fortune... so for them this seemed like an ideal way of cutting at least the hotel costs side

It sounds very tricky given the size of the family.

However there are various specialist web sites where you can usually advertise your exchange for free.

Further thought. Perhaps renting a flat??? That will be cheaper than hotels..
