10117 Italian letter needed - we're in Virgoletta (Villafranca)

Hi
This is my first post - please bear with me
We have recently bought an apartment in Virgoletta and absolutely love it and the area.
We have a slightly delicate matter with one of our neighbours and need to write them a short letter (in Italian). We could of course just get something automatically translated, however we would prefer to have someone help us with a good knowledge of Italian and ideally who knows the village/area.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance
Lloyd

Hi Lloyd
If its something that you could do via the email, I do know a guy that could help .....

Hi - thanks for prompt reply. Yes it is possible by email, however we would take the letter around. Also local knowledge of the area would be important.

Hi, I am sorry that your first post is about a "delicate" matter with neighbours, would it be at all possible to speak with them rather than write?, even if your Itaian wasnt brilliant, and ours wasnt when we went to speak with our neighbour re his constantly barking dog, we worked our way through it had a beer and were happy ever after. The dog got a new kennel, wasnt left out in the rain anymore, and didnt drive us dememted. 2 years down the line we are still friends.
There is something about a letter that for me smacks of officialdom, something that Italians sometimes really dont like.
Forgive me for not answering your question, just thought it might be helpful to explore alternatives.

Good advice - will definitely take it on board!
Cheers

I was thinking on the same lines about a possible friendly chat with your neighbour instead of a letter, but I see that Angie has beaten me. Definitely, a personal approach should be a better solution. Good luck!
And keep us posted....
