10133 Calabria in September

Hi

I have a house in Brattiro, which is a small vilage 4km from Tropea in Calabria and will be there in late September for the festival. If anyone is around at that time I would love to meet up for a bite to eat and drink and get to know other people from the area.

Also, I am interested in attending the language school in Tropea or Capo Vaticano can anyone make any recommendations or perhaps Italian teachers in the area.

My brother and his wife have a place in Calabria and are going there end Sep/early Oct. What's the festival? I'm thinking of joining them for a couple of days.

Hi Noddy

The festival is in Brattiro village, and to the best of my knowledge is the weekend of 27/28. I don't know the history but the village goes wild with celebration I believe, with everyone preparing carnival presentations, stands and music.
