10191 Ride on Mowers

Hi
I have had few people asking about ride on mowers and the cost of shipping them from the UK, We bought ours here, from a company called Agrieurocom, on Ebay Italy, Negozio eBay - AgrieuroCom: SCUOTITORI ABBACCHIATORI: SCUOTITORE olive abbacchiatore scuotiolive KAWASAKI 48, Abbacchiatore a BATTERIA scuotitore sferzatore OLIVANCE

They have a range of machines and are cheaper then shipping one over, its better to contact them directly, as they dont like paying ebay commission, the guys speak enough english to get the order sorted out.........good luck.

Depending on where you are, ride on mowers are certainly available here in Italy. Here in Umbria I know there's a place near Collestrada that sells them, surely there are more!

Had contacted the company, just before they went on holiday. Now just waiting for them for them to get back, so as to place the order. Luckily grass has not grown too much with all this dry weather, as did not fancy cutting 6000 sq mtrs with a strimmer.:no::no:

Yes ride on mowers are available at least in Le Marche but they're more expensive than in the uk I think so it makes sense to consider importing but now I have an idea of the cost and have been told that uk warranties would be unenforceable in Italy I have given up the idea of importing one and will have to get my head round another set of technical vocabulary to understand what the salesman is talking about.

Checked the prices from the site that D&R gave, against the UK price, and they worked out about the same, given the current exchange rate.
Anyone who is mechanically minded can have my old one, but will need to buy a new engine for it. Have just replaced the blades, battery and one blade spindle.

Geotherm. You could be on with that mower offer. Will PM you.
