Hello and a very warm welcome to the Forum from a neighbour.... I guess.
Because of the name you chose, you are probably from Fabbriche di Vallico or Fabbriche di Casabasciana, both in Lucca.... or is there another Fabbriche????
You could also join the group "New to Tuscany", see under groups at the top. Three of us are from the region.
Anyway, ask all the questions you want and we will try to answer to the best of our knowledge. And be sure that soon you will be answering questions as well....
Best wishes with all your projects,
Thanks for the welcome

Thanks Nielo and Gala Pacidia for such a quick response.
You guessed correctly, our house is near Fabrriche di Casabasciana. It is a new build and we have nothing but praise for our builders and tradesmen, and our Geometra. However,we would be interested to hear from anybody who has installed warm water underfloor heating. We have a few options available to us but somebody elses experience is always useful. It will be heated with lpg gas and solar. Our experience so far is that it is a fairly new method of heating to this area (despite the Romans and Hypercaust Heating) whilst in UK there are many good systems which can be installed DIY or by tradesmen. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Well, then you are closer to us. Welcome and enjoy your new home. I cannot help with the type of heating you mention as when we bought our mill gas heating with radiators was already installed, but there is an expert in this Forum, called "Geotherm" and he will be able to help. Look at his posts on the subject of heating or, better still, send him a PM.
Best wishes,

Thanks Gala. I only cover geothermal type installations though, not solar or gpl as cannot see any reason for 2 systems having to be used when one is quite adequate.
