10247 Just for fun (perhaps)...

I'm intrigued as to how foreigners see expats and vice versa, so I looked on a UK expat site for Americans.

I have to say I fond it very funny and quite eye-opening as to how US expats living in the UK percieve Britain and the British. D'you know - we actually put BUTTER in our sandwiches! AND we call Jell-o 'jelly'.

So - what do the Italian members of ths forum think of what WE think of them?

Thanks for the post. Stimulated me to look, and I've had an enjoyable time reading this American expatriates in UK site: UK-Yankee Forum - Index.

This thread made an intriguing counterpoint to some of the things said on Italy Mag forum recently: I need to hear good things about the UK

Altogether very different to Italy Mag - almost nothing about buying/converting houses, and not a geometra in sight!
